A variety of tours have been organised to allow delegates and partners to experience some of the sights and sounds of Perth. Please note: Most tours operate with minimum & maximum capacities.
Swan Valley Indulgence
Just half an hour from Perth lies the fertile and scenic Swan Valley, one of Western Australia’s premier wine regions. This region is blessed with a combination of history, art, world-class wine, gourmet tastings and fresh produce. Take a trip back in time through Guildford and discover old buildings and museums steeped in history. Once in the Swan Valley experience various renowned and boutique wineries and indulge in local Swan Valley cheeses. Discover the art of wine tasting and learn about the wine making process. This behind the scenes tour will commence with a relaxed lunch at a picturesque winery and will end with a trip to the Chocolate Factory.

Perth City, Cruise and Fremantle
The bustling port city of Fremantle attracted world attention with the America’s Cup defence held in 1981. Now it’s renowned for its heritage architecture, good food, lively atmosphere and friendly multicultural residents.
Sit back and relax as you spend an hour cruising the picturesque Swan River aboard a modern ferry from Perth. On board you can enjoy afternoon tea whilst taking in all the sights from this unique viewpoint, as your captain points out all the highlights including the beautifully restored Swan Brewery at the foot of King’s Park, Royal Perth Yacht Club, the magnificent homes of ‘Millionaires Row’ and Fremantle’s busy inner harbour.
Upon arrival the coach captain will greet you and take you on a tour of Fremantle’s bustling city centre before allowing you free time to discover all the character and charm of the port city for yourself. Our return journey follows Perth’s scenic Indian Ocean coastline via Leighton, Port and Cottesloe Beaches. One final stop at King’s Park allows time to enjoy or photograph the outstanding panorama of Perth and the Swan River.

Nature Lovers Kings Park Walk
Wander amongst the unique Western Australian flora and listen to the birds – enjoy a little of the life of Kings Park. Your guide will highlight botanical features and other items of general interest. At the end of the walk you will stop for afternoon tea in one of Kings Park’s picturesque cafés.

Kings Park Festival
The annual Kings Park Festival coincides with the CELM 2008 Conference. 'Seeds of Change' is the theme for this year's festival, highlighting the importance of conserving the earth's flora for the future sustainability of our planet. Climate change is impacting on all Australians but by taking an active role in conserving our local environment we can each make a difference.
The 2008 Kings Park Festival will include an intensive program of free events. Enjoy colourful displays of native wildflowers throughout the Botanic Garden, together with many events and activities to suit all ages and interests. There will be gardening and art workshops, free family Sundays, guided wildflower and bird walks, the Aspects of Kings Park 'meet an artist' program and much more.
